In 2009, the Internet Monitoring Unit completed its overhaul of the institution’s website and focused on developing new functionalities to optimise the site and, more specifically, the members’ area.

The site now provides members with an overview of the calendar of meetings and various events organised by AFTI.

Coinciding with the arrival of a new administrative secretary, Anaïs Marche, with particular responsibility for updating the website, work was undertaken in autumn 2009 to prepare for the launch of a newsletter and to bring the production of event e-mails and the distribution of the AFTI’s European newsletter back in-house. The unit also concentrated on managing the public section site, including posting consultation responses and AFTI positions online more quickly.

A press area also serves to provide regular updates on AFTI’s activities.
